The 5.5mm Aramid cord is ideal for experienced climbers wishing to carry a very light and very technical rappel. The properties of aramid give the cord an extremely low elongation and a very high resistance to heating when used in self-locking knots. A very low aspect ratio and a great lightness for better comfort. Suitable for expert climbers for more lightness during rappel descents. Polyester sheath whose surface has asperities which facilitates gripping, descent control during reminders and helps in braking. Hyperstatic to avoid the yo-yo effect during reminders thanks to the properties of aramid. Suitable for making self-locking knots given the very good resistance to heating of aramid. An extraordinary tensile force obtained through the use of aramid.
The reference ARAMIDE 5,5 is also used in vertical pro applications.
