Technical laces
When the COUSIN® Group was founded, it was known for weaving flat and round laces made from natural fibers.
Over time, this part of the company’s production has evolved toward technical laces and cords for sports equipment, particularly trail running shoes. These laces are made from high-strength synthetic fibers such as Dyneema®, braided polyester, and reinforced polyamide, with or without a core.
Braiding produces thin, lightweight cords with excellent abrasion resistance. Additional treatments can be applied to further enhance their mechanical properties. Strict tolerances are maintained to ensure performance, durability, and minimal weight, meeting the demands of high-level sports.
