Our design office develops your product with you.
Our process
Submit your request using our contact form:
- Requirement
- End use
- Environment in which your product will be used
- Desired technical characteristics
- Desired length and diameter
- COUSIN® brand or white label
Our design office will then examine the feasibility of your request.
All technical and mechanical criteria are analyzed, including raw materials, assembly, construction, processing, finishing, and packaging.
If development is possible, the sales team will send you a quote and a delivery timeframe.
Once the quote and technical file have been approved, a prototype can be tested before being sent to you. We can have your product certified by the organization of your choice.
All our products undergo rigorous laboratory testing: breaking strength, impact strength, elongation, flexibility, knotability, sheath slippage, water shrinkage, etc.
All tests comply with the various ISO regulations and European standards in force.
Additional tests can be carried out on request.
Your request is ready for industrialization.
We are committed to meeting the deadline.
In the maritime industry, Cousin Trestec offers a wide range of ropes tailored to the specific needs of professionals: mooring, anchoring, hauling, standing rigging, and even oceanographic applications. The Dynalight®, King Rope, and COSA ranges, for example, have proven themselves time and time again. They offer excellent mechanical performance: high breaking strength, very low elongation, dimensional stability, lightness, and abrasion resistance. Some cables even rival steel while being four times lighter, non-corrosive, and silent in use.
The extraction of sediment cores from the deep ocean, at depths of up to 8,000 m, requires cables that are lightweight, high-performance, with maximum stiffness and good roundness for winding on the winch. COUSIN® cables have won several awards in this field, contributing to the quality of the cores collected. COUSIN® also manufactures mooring lines for ports, weather buoys, and floating solar stations.
Cousin Trestec meets the growing expectations of maritime professionals: improving safety, streamlining operations, extending equipment life, while reducing their environmental footprint. Whether for oceanography, offshore yachting, or industrial port applications. Ropes for the maritime industry combine performance, reliability, and tailor-made adaptability.
